Wellbeing at Work - Team LFI is leading the way.
MIND. BODY. SOUL. CLIMBING THE LADDER OF POSITIVITY.
Here at LFI, we’ve always brought a positive attitude towards helping our people and fostered a culture of caring. Personal, or professional, problems are to be resolved by assisting in any way we can. As the responsible employer that we are, we’ve thought long and hard about how to prevent and empower Team LFI when it comes to their mental, and physical wellness. The solution? The creation of a Wellbeing at Work Program.
LFI’s Wellbeing at Work Program starts with well-developed, yet simple to execute ‘Wellness Action Plans’. Wellness Actions Plans (WAPs) are an easy, practical way of helping to support your own, and your employees’ mental health at work, and were first pioneered by the mental health charity, Mind.
From the 3rd of November, then each and every Wednesday, the first of these WAPs will start with the introduction to all of Team LFI - whether they are beavering away on-site at our headquarters, or working remotely, having the choice to take part in two Yoga NidraMeditation sessions. These calming classes allow for everyone to take time out of work, to focus on themselves. Each 20-minute class is conducted by a fully qualified instructor from Pasithea Yoga, helping to calm the mind, ease any tension, and relax the body. LFI Sales Office Manager and Yoga expert Candice O’Keeffe explains: “Yoga Nidra can help to provide a window into yourself, offering a space to explore what you need at the moment. This helps to reduce stress and anxiety, as well as an opportunity to work on releasing long-held emotions. Concentrating on breathwork enables your body to connect with your mind, taking some important time just for yourself to reset.”
RECONNECT WITH YOURSELF
With a keen attitude toward personal development, LFI Sales Office Manager, Candice O’Keeffe, became a fully qualified yoga teacher in 2020. With two UK-recognised yoga diplomas and a worldwide 200YTT, Candice has put those skills to great use by helping people heal the mind, body, and soul, or just generally relax and take time out from their busy schedules. “Just concentrating on simple breathwork enables your body to connect with your mind, taking some important time just for yourself to reset. It’s a firm favourite of my clients - a number of them say this part of their yoga practice, has played a key part in their yoga journey” says Candice.
After LFI hours, she runs Pasithea Yoga, a successful yoga business in Cheltenham, Gloucester. Now in its second year, the business has gone from strength to strength. Offering in-person classes nationwide, or online live-streaming sessions to a global audience, each Pasithea Yoga class feels fresh and inspiring with 5-star reviews across the board.
Whether you are an individual looking to be inspired, or a business wanting to help improve your employee’s wellbeing at work, why not give it a try? Pasithea Yoga’s students are well catered for, with beginner, mixed-ability, and advanced classes offering up a wide selection of Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Nidra meditation sessions.
