LFI Supports National Scaffolding Week

WE'RE SUPPORTING NATIONAL SCAFFOLDING WEEK BY RAISING AWARENESS AND INSPIRING BETTER SAFETY WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR.

With an annual value of £2.86bn to the UK economy, over 6,000 scaffolding companies representing more than 34,000 scaffolding operatives across the UK, slips, trips and falls from height present a risk to those that work at height. That risk greatly increases when site workers are using ladders that are not fit for purpose.

Other access equipment manufacturers choose to import inferior products. These products not only contribute to damaging the environment with unnecessary C02 emissions, but also the British economy, and worse of all, they put the ladder user in danger.

But not LFI. And, we've got the accreditations to prove it...

John Pearce, CEO of Made in Britain - who brings together the British manufacturing community commented: "LFI joins a long list of manufacturing companies joining Made in Britain to convey a clear message to buyers about the provenance and the exacting standards of their products. We applaud their decision to keep the manufacturing of their steel pole ladders in the UK when many similar companies are creating products abroad and contributing to C02 emissions."

THE LFI TuFF STEEL. THE ONLY BRITISH-MADE LADDER CREATED FOR USE WITH SCAFFOLDING. FACT.

The TuFF Steel is a British-made, steel pole ladder available in sizes from 3m up to 8m. Tested to the latest standard EN131 Professional and fully conforming to the requirements of TG20:21, it has been manufactured for use with scaffolding and for tough construction sites.

Constructed from cold-rolled, precision-engineered steel, with a hot-dip galvanised coil that guarantees a maximum strength-to-weight ratio, the Tuff Steel possesses a corrosion-resistant finish that is more durable than paint or any epoxy alternatives, and it can handle working in highly flammable environments, thanks to a non-sparking finish.

Plus, with a 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty included with our steel pole ladders, you’re guaranteed toughness that lasts.

We applaud their decision to keep the manufacturing of their steel pole ladders in the UK when many similar companies are creating products abroad and contributing to C02 emissions.
