Help LFI support a great cause today. Help support people living with cancer.

WE CARE. A LOT.

HELPING TO SUPPORT THOSE CLOSE TO OUR HEARTS.

On Friday 24th September we'll be opening our doors to the local community of Newent to take part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

We'd like to invite you all to pop in for a good ol' natter over a cuppa and cake whilst raising donations for Macmillan Cancer Support. We'll have a selection of teas and coffees to wash down some of the finest tasty treats. We'll even have a selection to cater for those with food allergies so you don't miss out! Plus, as an added bonus, we have pledged to double the final £ total to increase the efforts even further of our local community.

CARING FOR YOU. CARING FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT.

We know you'll probably have a few questions regarding hosting an event and Covid-19 safety. Let us reassure you that our office will be undergoing a deep clean before hosting this event.

Worried about taking that first sip? And what about using cutlery? Well, we've thought about that too. We've purchased single-use, but 100% recyclable cups, cutlery, napkins, and plates. Safety first. Always. That’s LFI.

Team LFI is looking forward to hosting the event. Engaging with the people that make up our local community is important to us, and being able to help to raise donations with them on the day is something we’re very proud of.

WHO IS MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT?

Macmillan Cancer Support is a registered charity (registered charity number 261017) with millions of supporters, professionals, volunteers, and campaigners that give people living with cancer everything they've got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are their worries. They do whatever it takes. Because cancer can affect life in so many ways, Macmillan does whatever it takes to give people the support they need.

Since Douglas Macmillan founded the charity in 1911, Macmillan Cancer Support has grown to be the UK’s leading source of cancer support, helping more and more people living with cancer. Today much of Douglas's legacy still lives on, continually adapting the support they offer, striving to ensure it’s right for the people of today and will be right for the future too. They also make sure you’re treated like a person, not just a patient – and that you get the support you need to live life as fully as you can.

I WANT TO HELP, WHERE’S THE CAKE AT?

The Macmillan Coffee Morning will be held on-site at our Head Quarters in Newent, Gloucestershire. We’ll be decorating the office in as much bunting as we can get our hands-on, so it’s sure to be seen around by everyone that passes by. Our lovely pretend baristas will be there bright and early from 9.30am to serve up your favourite choice of beverage. Cake for breakfast…ssshhh we won’t tell anyone, it’s for a good cause after all!
