PRODUCTION OPERATIVES

PRODUCTION OPERATIVES REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE START
As a Production Operative (also known as a Production Operator or Worker), you will be required to work on a busy production line Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 7.30am - 11.45am, helping to manufacture ladders, step ladders, and access equipment. You will be responsible to work as part of the existing team managed by the Production Supervisor to undertake all activities to enable the preparation, assembly, and packing of high-quality products which comply with our market-leading standards and meet customer expectations, whilst maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
To assemble products according to the specifications
To follow relevant work instructions and safe operating procedures
To adhere to all LFI and site policies and procedures at all times
To be vigilant in the monitoring of quality, and manufacturing procedures
To handle materials and equipment appropriately and for their intended purpose
To follow instructions to enable you to be competent in aspects of product assembly
To participate in training courses as required
To undertake any reasonable request which is within the capability and skill level for this role
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
This job role does not require you to have any specific qualifications, educational background, or previous experience - although work in a similar role is advantageous.
Important skills required:
Good communication skills in English
Be a team player and enjoy working with others to achieve set targets
Knowledge of H&S practices, and can demonstrate working in a safe manner
Good concentration and be a methodical worker
Accuracy with an attention to detail
Experience of working in a busy environment.
